As your therapist...

I am a practicum student currently pursuing my Master’s degree for Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Valdosta State University, currently under supervision from Dr. Andrew Morse. My heart is to offer a compassionate and grounding space to feel seen, safe, and supported. I believe in the transformative power of being genuinely known, and I am honored to walk alongside others as they navigate challenges, process past hurt, and experience new patterns that support growth and wholeness.

My approach is warm, curious, and collaborative, shaped by a holistic understanding of the connection between the emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual aspects of our lives. I draw on cognitive-behavioral principles, believing that the stories we tell ourselves deeply shape how we experience life, and that with support we can cultivate new ways of thinking that foster resilience, peace, and hope. I have developing interests in supporting adolescents and young adults navigating various issues including anxiety, depression, perfectionism, self-esteem, and trauma.

I also value the role that faith can play in the healing process. For clients who desire a Christian perspective, I am glad to integrate spiritual reflection, Biblical principles, and the hope of restoration into our work together. I believe every person carries inherent worth and purpose, and I consider it a privilege to support individuals as they move toward the fullness and renewal that are possible for them.
